Members of The Easton High School Cross Country Team were thrilled to be the first athletes to train on the school’s much anticipated new track, installed late
this summer. After many years of deterioration of the prior track surface, and a lack of available capital funds to repair or replace it, the old track was condemned during the 2019-2020 school year, leaving the teams unable to host home competitions. The new track surface is a polyresin system that provides a durable, resilient, and high performance product for the student athletes. The replacement project included removal of the old track material, repair of the existing asphalt surface, installation of an asphalt overlay, and finally, the installation of the new multi-layer track surface.
